Cbus has announced the appointment of Robbie Campo to the newly-created role of group executive - brand, advocacy, marketing and product, effective 31 July 2017.

In this role, Campo will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of brand, marketing and communications support for the fund as well as corporate affairs, industry partnerships, product development and public policy advocacy.

Campo has approximately 20 years' experience in the superannuation and financial services industry, most recently as the deputy chief executive at Industry Super Australia (ISA), a role that she held for three years. She was one of the founding employees of ISA and has held various roles with the fund, and its predecessor organisation Industry Super Network, for 17 years. She is also chair of Women in Super's national policy committee and a director on its board.

Commenting on her appointment, chief executive officer, David Atkin, said: "I'm delighted that someone of Robbie's calibre and experience is joining our team in a senior leadership role. Robbie has extensive experience working within complex regulatory, political, stakeholder and commercial environments."
