Industry Moves understands that Commonwealth Bank has appointed former RBA manager Belinda Cheung as the director of global economic and markets research.
Cheung most recently spent more than five years with the RBA in a variety of roles including manager of institutional markets and manager of domestic portfolio and liquidity management. She was until recently also the secretary and councillor for the Economic Society of Australia.
CBA did not respond to a request for comment.
