CareSuper names new ESG manager

CareSuper has appointed Nick Tranotis to the newly created role of ESG manager.

Tranotis will work with the head of ESG, Claire Molinari, to manage the fund's net zero program, engagement program and proxy voting activities.

He joins from the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors, where he was manager, of ESG engagement.

Previous roles include senior investment analyst at UniSuper and senior performance and risk analyst at National Australia Bank. These roles were for five and two years respectively.

Earlier this year, the $19 billion superannuation fund that services professional, managerial, and administration workers appointed Molinari head of ESG.

She also joined from ACSI where she was the research manager.
