Camm removed as Chair of Praemium and new board announced

Following a recent general meeting, Praemium has announced that shareholders have voted to remove board chair, Greg Camm, and replace him with Barry Lewin, effective immediately.

Camm was appointed to the board in September 2016. Previously, he held senior executive positions with ANZ Bank, AMP and Superpartners. He has 40 years' experience working in banking, wealth management and superannuation and is currently a director for Bank Australia, Yarra Valley Water and the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

In a statement to the ASX, Praemium also announced the removal of directors, Robert Edgley, Peter Mahler and Andre Carstens who are to be replaced by Stuart Robertson and Daniel Lipshut.

Commenting on his departure from Praemium, Camm said: "The shareholders have spoken and a new board is appointed. Praemium is a good business with very good people and the outgoing board give Lewin and his colleagues our best wishes in governing the company."
