Calvitto promoted at Northern Trust

Angelo Calvitto has taken a new role with Northern Trust. The Australian country head will succeed William Mak as the lead for its asset servicing business across the Asia Pacific region.

Calvitto first joined Northern Trust in 2008 as senior vice president for relationship management. He became the head of sales for the Asia Pacific region in 2017 and Australian managing director in 2018.

Before joining Northern Trust, Calvitto spent eight years with ANZ as head of sales and account management and held roles in investment and pension fund services with State Street.

While Mak was based in Singapore, Calvitto will remain based in Melbourne.
