BUSSQ investment ops departs

BUSSQ Super's investment operations specialist Damian Hatton has left the organisation after more than nine years. Hatton was responsible for monitoring and maintaining the fund's $5 billion investment portfolio containing listed and unlisted assets, as well as direct investments. He also liaised with custodians, fund managers, and asset consultants. The fund's FUM grew from $2 billion to more than $5 billion during his time with the organisation.

In comments to Industry Moves, Hatton said that he's decided to take a break to re-calibrate, have some time with family, and then look for his next challenge.

Before joining the industry fund, Hatton held a similar role with MTAA Superannuation for more than three years. He's also held roles with Suncorp, Energy Super, and Equity Trustees.
