BT Investment Management (BTIM) has announced the establishment of a new global executive committee.

BTIM CFO, Cameron Williamson, who joined BTIM in January 2008 as the firm's financial controller and acted as chief financial officer for 12 months before his appointment to the permanent role in February 2010, has been appointed to the committee as group chief financial officer.

The other committee members are: group chief executive officer and managing director, Emilio Gonzalez (Australia-based); and group executive, J O Hambro Capital Management group chief executive officer, Gavin Rochussen (UK-based). A search is also currently underway for a group chief risk officer; and a group executive, BTIM (Australia) chief executive officer.

In a statement from the firm, BTIM CEO Emilio Gonzalez said: "I look forward to working with my team to advance our next phase of growth. We will continue our investment in talent as the business expands and grows, and in order to pursue our objectives of delivering strong long-term investment returns and services to clients."
