A spokesperson for BT Financial Group has confirmed the resignation of chief investment officer (CIO) Patrick Farrell.
In a memo obtained by the AFR's Street Talk, BT's general manager of platforms and operations John Shuttleworth said Farrell had resigned after nine years with the group "to pursue other opportunities".
Farrell's successor is former head of diversified strategies at BT Investment Management, Martyn Wild, who will commence in the role on 4 July 2016.
