BT Financial Group (BTFG) has announced the appointment of Corrin Collocott as chief investment officer (CIO), effective immediately.
Collocott first joined BTFG in November 2015 as head of diversified portfolios before moving into the role of head of asset allocation. He has been acting CIO since the departure of Martyn Wild in March 2017.
Collocott has more than 20 years' experience in financial services, leading investment strategies across a number of multi asset class and alternative asset class portfolios. Prior to joining BTFG, he held roles with Sunsuper, Russell Investment Group and Tower Life.
Commenting on his appointment at BTFG, general manager platforms and investments, John Shuttleworth, said: "Corrin's understanding of the capital markets, portfolio construction and investment managers will allow us to seek every opportunity to boost returns, as well as the flexibility to adapt to the ever-changing market conditions."
