BT has made a key hire by recruiting a long-serving Macquarie Bank product specialist to lead its platform business.
Reporting to chief executive Matt Rady, Annabelle Kline will also be a key BT leadership team member.
Kline replaces Kathy Vincent who left late last year for a new role as chief of retirement at Australian Retirement Trust.
She is an experienced financial services professional with over 23 years in senior roles at Macquarie Bank.
Most recently, she served as chief product officer for its wealth management business and head of value-added services.
In the latter role, Kline was responsible for developing and executing the platform strategy for the business bank.
Rady said he's delighted to welcome Annabelle to the team.
"Annabelle joins us at an important time when we're focused on growth and continuing to build our offer to help quality financial advice to thrive.
"Following Westpac's decision to retain the BT we're looking forward to the future and building a simpler and stronger business," Rady added.
For her part, Kline said: she is "excited" to join BT when the business is gaining momentum and investing in tech transformation and simplification to enhance the adviser and investor experience.
BT is the only platforms business owned by a Big Four bank, following Westpac's decision to retain it last year.
BT Panorama is one of Australia's largest platforms, with just over $110 billion in funds under management.
