Bridges CEO departs

Bridges & Associates has confirmed the departure of chief executive officer Nick Langton.

Langton joined Bridges in 2014 as CEO and prior to that he was at Perpetual as general manager, Perpetual private clients.

Commenting on his departure, Bridges group general manager, wealth management, Renato Mota said: "We are grateful for Nick's commitment and the tremendous results achieved during his tenure, highlights of which included Bridges two highest years for new business."

"Nick's willingness to challenge the status quo and represent the interests of our advisers and their clients has helped Bridges and IOOF focus on putting the client first. His leadership and strategic insight has built a platform from which Bridges will continue to build upon in the coming years."

A spokesman for Bridges said that Langton will be taking a sabbatical while considering the next stage of his life and career.

Nathan Stanton will step in as acting CEO until a permanent role is appointed.
