Brett Jollie to lead Aberdeen Standard Investments

Aberdeen Standard Investments, the combined investment business of newly-merged firms Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life, has announced the appointment of Brett Jollie as managing director for Australasia.

Jollie, who was previously managing director of Aberdeen Asset Management, is joined in the new business by former head of Standard Life Investments for Australasia, Simone Bouch, who has been appointed as head of distribution.

In addition, Stuart James, who was Aberdeen's head of distribution in Australia, will retain a senior role in the new business, while Peter Young, chair of Standard Life Investments Australasia, will continue to work closely with the Australian management team.
