Bravura names Libby Roy as CEO

A former AMP executive has been named chief executive of Bravura Solutions.

Roy, who replaces Nick Parsons and is currently a non-executive director of Bravura, arrives from Optus where she is managing director.

Previously she was managing director of PayPal's Australia and New Zealand business.

Before that, she was head of corporate superannuation at AMP Financial Services and before that interim head of Multiport.

Bravura recently acquired Midwinter to help build its growth strategy.

"Given her executive background, industry knowledge and experience at board level with Bravura, I have every confidence that Libby will champion the needs of clients, employees and shareholders into the future," Bravura chair Neil Broekhuizen said.

In accepting the appointment, Roy thanked Parsons for his contribution over many years at Bravura, including building up the executive team.
