BondAdviser appoints Director of Investment Management

Independent credit research and advisory firm BondAdviser has appointed John Likos to the newly-created role of director of investment management.

Likos was previously a director of equity and credit research at Morningstar Australasia. Prior to this, he worked in specialist fixed income roles across Sydney and London, including time at Mondrian Investment Partners and Deutsche Bank.

Commenting on the appointment, BondAdviser managing director Nick Yaxley said: "John is committed to educating clients about the importance of fixed income within an overall investment strategy. John has a diverse background in a wide variety of credit-related roles and brings a wealth of analysis and portfolio management experience to our investment team".

Likos will be based in Sydney and focus on the continued development of BondAdviser's SMA and investment management business, the firm said.
