Blue Orbit AM appoints Director & Head of Institutional

Blue Orbit Asset Management, a Melbourne-based boutique investment firm focused on listed equity investments for institutional investors, has appointed Julie Andrews as director & head of institutional.

In this role, Andrews is responsible for all client and asset consultant engagement and business development.

Andrews was formerly the head of equities at IFM Investors, from 2014- 2016. Before this, she served as head of institutional equities at Vanguard Australia in 2013, and as a director for FTSE, from 2007-2013, where she established and developed the business in AU/NZ. Prior to FTSE, she established the Asia Pacific business as a director for Starmine, a global equity research analytics firm.

She joined Blue Orbit Asset Management in early 2018, along with Damien Green and Megan Talmage. The firm was founded by former IFM Investors' investment director, Adam Randall, who serves as Blue Orbit's CEO and portfolio manager.
