Berkshire promotes local VP

Berkshire Global Advisors has promoted one of its Sydney staff to the role of principal.

Serving as a vice president for six years, Dunn helped set up and co-manage the Australian business.

He has overseen many local merger and acquisition deals in the funds management and banking sectors.

Dunn arrived at Berkshire from Ascalon Capital Managers, where he served as finance chief for nine years.

Previous roles include a financial & analysis manager at Alcon Laboratories, part of the Nestle Group, a financial controller at George Bank and a fund and accounting manager at GIO Asset Management.

"Dunn's promotion to principal is well-deserved and represents both the growth of Berkshire's Australia business and global talent development," Berkshire said.

The firm thanked Dunn for his "relentless excellence, integrity and loyalty".
