Bennelong Chair steps down

Mike Pratt has stepped down as chair of Bennelong Funds Management (Bennelong), effective 1 November 2016.

Stephen Rix, who has been a member of the Bennelong board since 2010 and is chair of four of Bennelong's boutique asset management teams, has been appointed as his successor.

Paying tribute to Pratt, Bennelong CEO Craig Bingham said: "Mike's leadership helped guide Bennelong as we redefined our goals and accelerated our business growth. We thank him for his contribution and wish him well with his broad endeavours".

Pratt is currently the commissioner for service in the NSW Government, chair of the Customer Advisory Board - NSW, deputy chancellor of the University of Western Sydney, and a non-executive director of TAL Dai-ichi Life Australia and Credit Union Australia.
