Ben and Toby Heap establish H2 Ventures

Ben Heap, former chief executive officer and managing director of Australian Wealth Investments, has established H2 Ventures, a new fintech-focused venture capital fund and accelerator. Toby Heap, brother of Ben, and former managing director of AWI Ventures, joins as chair of the organisation.

Commenting on the new venture, Ben Heap said: "We continue to see extraordinary opportunities in early-stage fintech venture capital investment here in Sydney, and as principals in our own investment company, Toby and I are excited to be able to expand the scale of our capital commitments and play an integral role in what we expect to be an explosion of fintech innovation in Australia."

H2 will move into Sydney's new fintech hub Stone & Chalk.
