Baldwin departs Aware

Michael Baldwin, the head of corporate affairs and communication, has left Aware Super after more than five years with the industry fund.

Baldwin first joined then-First State Super in 2015 as head of corporate affairs. It was a return to the super fund space for Baldwin, who had previously spent a dozen years as chief executive of the Fund Executives Association Limited (FEAL) and as events and sponsorship manager for the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA).

A spokesperson for Aware Super tells Industry Moves that some of Baldwin's previous responsibilities have been picked up by the fund's new head of external affairs, Grant Smith.

Aware is continuing to recruit for a head of government relations and policy.
