U Ethical Investors distribution director David Brennan has left the asset manager to take up a role within AustralianSuper's intermediary business

In the new position, he will lead the business development team within the intermediary group,

Brennan has worked in the institutional and financial advice markets for over 18 years as a relationship and sales leader.

For five years, he was responsible for the distribution function at U Ethical which houses the relationship management, sales and marketing team.

He was a member of the leadership team at U Ethical Investors, the only for-purpose fund manager in Australasia, managing more than $1.3 billion of assets.

Brennan was also responsible for the fund expanding into the financial adviser and wholesale markets.

Before that, he spent the same amount of time with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, where he ran institution distribution.

Previously, he held roles with Dimensional Fund Advisors and Macquarie Bank and has vast board experience across the health, NFP and government landscape.

Separately, Morningstar operative Deborah Graham has also shifted to the nation's biggest superannuation fund as a business development manager.

Graham can count AMP, Praemium, BT and MLC among her previous workplaces.
