AustralianSuper appoints Group Executive, People and Culture

AustralianSuper has announced the appointment of Michele Glover as group executive, people and culture.

Glover joins the $140 billion super fund from Mercer, where she was people and culture leader for the Pacific region, responsible for employee engagement initiatives, acquisitions and business partnerships.

AustralianSuper has also announced the appointment of Felicia Trewin to the newly-created role of group executive, technology services.

Commenting on both appointments, chief executive, Ian Silk, said: "AustralianSuper is a growing fund and we are fortunate to have people like Felicia and Michele join us. Both will play an integral role in helping AustralianSuper deliver on its mission of providing members with their best possible retirement outcome."

Both Glover and Trewin will sit on the fund's executive committee.

In acknowledging Glover's contribution to Mercer over two decades, Ben Walsh, managing director & CEO, Australia, said: "Michele will always be a friend and we are proud of all that she achieved for the firm during her time with us. As our people and culture leader, Michele played a significant role in recent years in driving our diversity and inclusion agenda, something which we consult to other organisations on and which I am personally very passionate about and looking forward to continuing for ourselves."

Walsh confirmed that a search for Glover's successor is underway.
