Australian Unity appoints board member

Australian Unity Limited has announced the appointment of Lisa Chung as a director of its board, effective 30 June 2017.

Chung is currently chair of Urbis Pty Limited and The Benevolent Society; a director of APN Outdoor Group Limited; deputy president of Trustees for the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (Powerhouse Museum); and an advisory committee member for the University of Wollongong Early Start.

Previously she was a partner at Maddocks Lawyers and held senior management roles at Blake Dawson (now Ashurst).

Commenting on her appointment, Australian Unity chair, Peter Promnitz, said: "We are delighted that Lisa has agreed to join the Australian Unity Limited board. Her experience will further strengthen our board and complement our existing expertise."
