ART hires Formula1 editor as PM

Australian Retirement Trust has confirmed that Ekagra Gupta will join the $230 billion industry fund as an associate portfolio manager in the portfolio strategy team.

Gupta arrives from MLC Asset Management, where he was a senior analyst in the multi-asset team.

Here, he was responsible for asset allocation strategy and research for the firm's traditional retail diversified portfolios and real return strategies.

Gupta commenced his career as an investment at JANA, where he was responsible for delivering investment strategy reviews and analytics to consulting clients.

Incidentally, the motorsports enthusiast is also the editor-in-chief of ProjectF1 a publication focused on data-driven insights.
