Ariane Barker joins CSC board

The Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC) has announced the appointment of new board member, Ariane Baker, effective 13 September 2016. She replaces outgoing director, Lyn Gearing, whose term ended on 12 September 2016.

Barker has over 20 years' experience in international banking and finance including roles as director, equities division at HSBC, executive director, equities division at Goldman Sachs and associate - capital markets at Merrill Lynch International.

She is currently the general manager, products and markets at JBWere and also sits on the board for Emergency Services and State Super.

Commenting on Baker's appointment, CSC chair Patricia Cross said: "I congratulate Ariane on her appointment to the CSC board - her extensive skills and wealth of experience will complement the expertise of the other directors on the board."
