DEPARTURE
AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND BANKING GROUP LIMITED
Date: February 2020
Position: Chief Risk Officer

ANZ's chief risk officer, Kylie Rixon, has left the organisation.

Rixon had been with the organisation since 2014, serving as CRO across ANZ Wealth Australia, Digital & Wealth Australia, and the Australian division generally.

In 2018, she provided testimony to the Banking Royal Commission around ANZ's compliance audit into their wealth management and advice groups, ANZ Financial Planning, RI Advice and Millennium3. The audit found that around five per cent of advice provided was unsuitable.

A spokesperson from ANZ confirmed Rixon's departure. "We can confirm that Kylie Rixon has left her role as ANZ's chief risk officer, Australia and Digital. We will announce shortly who will replace Ms Rixon in an acting capacity while a search is conducted for a permanent replacement."

Industry Moves has reached out to Rixon for comment on her future plans, and will update this story with her response.
