ANZ has announced that their chief data officer, Emma Gray, has been promoted to the organisation's first group executive for data and automation.
The news was included in the organisation's half-yearly results.
In her new role, she will look after the use of data and insights to improve customer experience.
Gray first joined ANZ in 2017 from Woolworths where she was the chief loyalty and data officer, responsible for group loyalty programs. She was also a partner for Bain & Company for more than 14 years.
