Jessica-Anne Collier has taken up a new role as an infrastructure analyst with Rest, the superannuation fund for the retail sector.

Collier joins from Australian Retirement Trust where she was a portfolio analyst with the sustainability investment team, underscoring a possible trend towards covering traditional asset classes.

She has a varied background.

Collier worked at Macquarie Group as an investor relations manager for almost four years.

She arrived at Macca from J.P Morgan, where she held an analyst role in equities research.

Meantime, Ron Sargeant has joined Bennelong Australian Equity Partners (BAEP) as a senior portfolio specialist.

He was previously an analyst at Touchstone Asset Management.

Both BAEP and Touchstone are Bennelong Funds Management boutiques.

BAEP chief investment officer Mark East said he is looking forward to working with Sargeant in the new role.

He arrived at Touchstone from Barclays Capital, where he served as head of Hong Kong and China equity sales.

He earlier worked in hedge fund sales for Credit Suisse.

Touchstone portfolio manager Jack Chemello said: "We thank Ron for his contributions and wish him all the best.

"This is the first departure we've ever had and gives us a chance to review our structure to better support clients and foster growth."
