Analyst moves: Mercer and InvestSense

Mercer Investments has appointed Guy Shearman as a senior sustainable investment analyst.

Sherman joins from Aware Super, where he spent three years as a responsible investment analyst.

Before that, he was an ESG investments associate with the Royal Bank of Canada-owned BlueBay Asset Management the fixed-income credit and alternative investment manager managing $US 150 billion.

Earlier he was an ESG Consultant at ESG Impact Capital where he worked to improve client's performance through tailored ESG analysis and strategy.

The senior analyst began his career in the financial markets at Varna Capital, a financing company that provides solutions for property developers.

Also, starting a new role is Joel Sasim who InvestSense has recruited as an investment analyst.

He held similar positions at AZ Sestante and Wollongong-based HLB Mann Judd.

Before moving into investments, he did a five-year stint at Commonwealth Bank as a wholesale banking analyst.
