AMP loses top managed accounts executive

AMP Limited has lost its head of investments and managed portfolios and is looking for a replacement.

The asset manager confirmed that Frances Taylor will depart the firm and that Dipin Arora will step into the role in an acting capacity.

Arora is a senior product manager in Taylor's group.

Taylor had been head of investments and managed portfolios since June 2021, after having done stints at Basalt, OneVue Group and HUB24 in platform development and strategy.

Earlier, she spent three years with van Eyk as head of strategy, a year with Zurich and eight years at AMP.

AMP said that they wished Taylor all the best and thanked her for her contribution in helping establish North's managed portfolio offer which will be a continued focus for the highly experienced North team.

"Dipin Arora has been appointed head of investment menus & SMA on an acting basis while we conduct a thorough internal and external search process," said a spokesman.

"Dipin has been part of our wealth division at AMP for close to 14 years and has been instrumental in driving our Investments and managed portfolios product strategy."
