AMP welcomes technology head

Kavita Mistry will become AMP's new chief technology officer, joining the executive committee.

Mistry replaces Felicia Trewin, who resigned to take a similar role at Medibank.

She joined AMP in January 2023 to lead technology at AMP's wealth business as well as its digital and enterprise platforms.

She arrived from AustralianSuper, where she served as acting chief technology officer and head of enterprise technology.

Before that, Mistry held several leadership roles at ANZ, where she worked for 14 years.

"In her 12 months with AMP, she has proven herself to be an excellent leader with a depth of capability in leading technology transformation,' said AMP chief executive Alexis George.

"She is well-placed to lead the team through this next phase of transformation as part of the executive committee."

George thanked the outgoing technology head for her focus on creating a unified technology team with a clear path forward.

"We wish Felicia all the best in her new role and thank her for reshaping the technology function and building a depth of talent."
