AMP Head of Sales - QLD to depart

Ivor Kay has confirmed to Industry Moves his departure from the role of head of sales, QLD with AMP, effective 22 December 2017.

In this role, Kay has been responsible for designing and implementing the regional sales strategy and servicing advisers across the aligned and IFA networks.

Kay joined AXA in 2006 as a BDM and in 2010 he was promoted to state sales manager. Following AXA's merger with AMP in 2011, Kay was appointed to his current role.

Commenting on his departure, Kay said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at AXA/AMP and have worked with some great people. I am looking forward to a new challenge in the industry in 2018."

A spokesperson for AMP said: "We're creating specialist roles aligned to our wealth management and insurance businesses, and bringing our broker and adviser bank sales teams together. In a market with increasingly differentiated offers, this will allow the teams to develop a deeper knowledge of their respective product areas and better support advisers and brokers."
