AMP Capital has announced the merger of its separately managed accounts and origination functions as part of changes to the Global Infrastructure Equity business. Michael Bessell, who is currently global head of origination, has moved into the expanded role of head of separately managed accounts & origination, Australia and New Zealand. Bessell joined AMP Capital in 2006 from an investment banking role at Rothschild.
