AMP Capital has appointed a new fund manager for their Diversified Property Fund.

Tom Green will serve as fund manager, taking over from Brett Williams who moved to the retail sector of the real estate business earlier in the year.

Green has more than 10 years' experience in the real estate industry, including funds management and transactions. He's been with AMP Capital since 2017 and previously worked at Lendlease and was an associate director at Colliers International.

AMP Capital also announced that Andrew Jeffs would be the new deputy fund manager, replacing Green.

Of the appointments, AMP Capital's retail managing director, Brett Williams, said "I am very pleased to appoint such strong real estate investment professionals to ADPF, which is one of largest diversified property funds in Australia. Over the last few months Tom has worked closely with me as I've transitioned into my new role, and his appointment demonstrates the outstanding and diverse talent we have in this business.

"Additionally, we were impressed by Andrew's strong retail and operational experience, and his skills will perfectly complement Tom's, to create a winning team. Under Tom's leadership, I have no doubt the Fund will go from strength to strength, as we look to continue to provide sustainable returns for our investors," Williams said.
