AMP Capital expands Sustainable Investment team

AMP Capital has announced the appointment of Adrian Williams as ESG director, real estate and listed equities within the firm's sustainable investment team, effective January 2019.

For the past 10 years, Williams has held senior roles within AMP Capital's real estate business including head of corporate responsibility and business platform, head of finance, and acting chief operating officer.

The firm said that Williams also has "more than 30 years of grass roots" experience in the establishment and running of not-for-profit and social enterprises "and is passionate about the importance of driving social change."

His appointment follows that of new Hong Kong-based, co-head of sustainable investment, Emily Woodland, who will lead the sustainable investment team alongside current team head, Sydney-based Dr Ian Woods.

The appointment of Woodland and Williams increases the firm's sustainable investment team to six people.
