AMP Capital appoints Head of Research, RE

AMP Capital has announced the appointment of Luke Dixon as head of research, real estate, effective 18 July 2017.

Reporting to chief operating officer, real estate, Louise Mason, Dixon will be responsible for driving AMP Capital Real Estate's thought leadership agenda and providing insights to clients, partners and the market.

He joins AMP Capital from RF Capital where he led the research on the firm's global real estate strategy covering debt, capital, real asset and technology markets.

Dixon's appointment is one of three new roles announced across AMP Capital's real estate business, with Hamish Stuart appointed as head of leasing, office and Justine Hughes as head of retail management, shopping centres.

Commenting on the hires, AMP Capital's global head of real estate, Carmel Hourigan, said: "These appointments demonstrate the continued momentum behind our business and position the team well to deliver on our strategy."
