AMP Capital appoints Acting CFO/COO

A spokesperson for AMP Capital has confirmed to Industry Moves that Adrian Williams has been appointed as acting chief financial officer and chief operating officer following the news that John Patrick (JP) Moorhead will move to AMP Limited as group CFO, effective June 2019.

Commenting on Williams' appointment, the spokesperson said: "Adrian has a broad and solid understanding of our business and is well placed to step into this role."

Williams will report to managing director Adam Tindall and join AMP Capital's leadership team while the search for a permanent replacement is underway.

For the past 10 years, Williams has held senior roles within AMP Capital's real estate business including head of corporate responsibility and business platform, head of finance, and acting chief operating officer. In January 2019, he was appointed ESG director, real estate and listed equities within the firm's sustainable investment team.
