AMP appoints new SuperConcepts CEO

AMP has announced five key appointments to its Australian Wealth Management leadership team, including the appointment of Lara Bourguignon as chief executive officer of SuperConcepts, AMP's self-managed super fund administration services business.

Bourguignon, who will commence in the role in mid-April, is an internal appointment, having most recently served as AMP's director of strategic marketing & customer experience.

Previously, she was general manager, customer experience super at MLC and, before that, held various positions at NAB including GM corporate super; GM Plum and Group Insurance - MLC; chief financial officer, NAB Support Units; and head of investment controls, NAB Wealth.

At SuperConcepts, she will replace interim CEO Adrian Urquhart who, in turn, replaced former CEO Natasha Fenech.

The other new appointees to AMP's Australian Wealth Management leadership team are: Jen Thomas as chief operating officer; Fraser Herd as managing director, client relationships; Ant Dureau as chief client officer; and Lakshman Anantakrishnan as chief investment officer.

The team will report to Alex Wade, AMP CEO, Australian Wealth Management.
