AMP Capital appoints Head of Global Listed Real Assets

AMP Capital has announced changes to its equities business to reflect increased investor interest in listed real assets. As part of these changes, Matthew Hoult has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of global listed real assets, effective immediately.

In this role, Hoult will be responsible for developing new listed real assets products for investors including different combinations of listed real assets strategies. His role will also be focused on increasing collaboration between the listed real assets teams.

Hoult moves into this role after being AMP Capital's co-head of global listed real estate since 2011.

Hoult commenced in the investment management industry in 1998, working as an equity analyst in the Australian equities teams of two investment firms before specialising in global real estate securities. Prior to joining AMP Capital, he worked at BNP Paribas Asset Management for seven years, the last two and a half years as the firm's chief investment officer of global property.
