Altor Capital expands team

Altor Capital, the boutique alternative asset manager, has hired Emmanuel Vergara as head of distribution.

Until April, he worked at Cambridge Investment Partners.  Then he spent five months with JB Were as a consultant before taking the position of sales director at Altor.

Earlier, Vergara spent four years at Walsh & Company, the Sydney-based specialist global fund manager, and about the same amount of time at the Commonwealth Bank as a director of equity capital markets.

In 2009, he joined JP Morgan in investment banking operations where he focussed on swaps and derivatives documentation.

"Emanuel brings more than ten years capital market experience to the firm including corporate advisory in both the listed and unlisted space," said Altor Capital's managing director Harley Dalton.
