Alliston to retire from AMP

Debbie Alliston, who has been with AMP and AMP Capital for more than a decade, is set to retire later this year.

During her tenure with the organisation, Alliston held several senior investment roles including chief investment officer for AMP Capital's multi-asset group.

Before joining AMP Capital, Alliston was the investment director for Apostle Asset Management and spent 16 years with BT Financial Group (then Rothschild Asset Management) in a variety of roles including chief operating officer for investment management and head of portfolio management.

Alliston's departure was announced alongside the appointment of Anna Shelley as the new chief investment officer for AMP Australia. "Anna is replacing Debbie Alliston who is retiring from executive positions and will finish on 31 July after 10 years of exceptional service."
