Alexander Funds hires sales lead

Alexander Funds Management has recruited a new regional manager for Victoria South Australia and Tasmania.

Jason Smit will join head of distribution, Chris Inifer, to focus on the advice market, working alongside James Curnow, who runs New South Wales and Queensland.

Smit joins from Dimensional Fund Advisors, where he worked in the wealth global client group, responsible for developing new business and managing existing client relationships.

Earlier, he spent eight years as an investment specialist at RMB Private Bank in South Africa.

"Alexander continues to grow strongly. Accordingly, it has been important to expand the distribution footprint to service the growing adviser support base. Jason's addition will allow us to expand our coverage in the Australian market" said Chris Inifer.

Smit is a CFA Charterholder.
