Trish Curry, the former regional head of AustralianSuper's UK operation, has joined the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees.

Curry has been appointed general manager of memberships and partnerships.

She spent two decades at Australia's largest superannuation fund leading the business through major regulatory reforms and market changes, complex acquisition and integration programs, and a strategic geo-expansion program.

Most recently, she spent five years in London, where she helped set up the UK business obtaining regulatory approvals and oversight of the fund's geo-expansion program.

During her 14 years with AustralianSuper, she was the national manager of the stakeholder relations team and the manager of the executive accounts team.

Before that, Curry spent nine years with MLC.

"I'm excited to move to the next phase of my career by joining AIST while remaining in an industry I love and using the knowledge I've developed over the last 25 years," she said.

Meanwhile, Soula Konstantopoulos has been hired as general manager, finance, and corporate services.

Konstantopoulos joins AIST from the Southern Migrant & Refugee Centre, where she was general manager of corporate services.

Both recruits will report to the peak superannuation body's chief executive Eva Scheerlinck.

"The two new appointments will strengthen AIST's leadership team and therefore its capabilities in supporting the superannuation sector," said Scheerlinck.
