AIOFP adds to board

The Association of Independently Owned Financial Professionals (AIOFP) has confirmed to Industry Moves that Adrian Raftery has joined its board as a non-executive director, effective immediately.

Raftery is a lecturer and researcher at Deakin University Business School. He is also a financial adviser, practising under the name Mr Taxman, and has nearly 20 years' experience providing accounting services and financial advice, including establishing ARW Chartered Accountants in 1997 and AccountantsRus in 2001.

Joining him on the AIOFP board is Professor Sarath Delpachitra and Halle Yilmaz, the first female to be appointed to the board in the association's history.
