Position: General Manager - Member Services, Partnerships and Campus AFA

The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of Nick Hakes as general manager - member services, partnerships and Campus AFA, effective 16 March 2018.

In this role, Hakes was responsible for the design, build and delivery of services to members, corporate and licensee partners, education providers and all activities of Campus AFA. Prior to this, he held the role of head of Campus AFA from 2012-2014.

Commenting on his departure, AFA CEO, Philip Kewin, said: "After many years' service, Nick Hakes has left the AFA to pursue other career opportunities. Nick has been a valuable member of the executive team and made a strong and far reaching contribution to the AFA, but now wishes to take on a new challenge."

He added: "We would like to thank him for his contribution and his achievements over his time at the AFA. Whilst sad to see him go, we wish him every success in his next endeavour."

A search for his replacement is underway.
