Cameron Burne has joined the Association of Financial Advisers as GM of partnerships.
Burne left AMP at the end of 2020 following more than eight years with the organisations as an account and practice development manager. Burne previously spent two years as a business development manager with Media Super and held financial planning and practice development roles with Westpac, Austbrokers, and Bridges.
Burne is joined on the AFA leadership team by Candice Spence, who was named GM of marketing. "We are delighted to be welcoming Candice and Cameron to the AFA team," said AFA acting CEO Phil Anderson. "They are both highly-skilled, seasoned professionals that join the AFA as we celebrate our 75th anniversary and build on our solid foundations. They will be integral to helping the AFA achieve its strategic objectives and mission to support our essential and valuable advice community."
Burne joined the AFA in March.
