AdviserLogic CEO moves to Morningstar after acquisition
Morningstar Australia has acquired cloud-based financial planning software platform AdviserLogic.
The more than 80 people employed at AdviserLogic in Australia and India are coming across with the acquisition, including CEO Daniel Gara who will lead the product development and go-to-market efforts for the platform within Morningstar.
Jamie Wickham, managing director of Morningstar Australasia says the move will help expand what Morningstar can offer.
"AdviserLogic's financial planning software combined with Morningstar's deep data, analytics and research will enable us to elevate our technology solutions for advisers - to support them in running an efficient and compliant practice; and in delivering improved outcomes for their clients with investor-centric advice."
Wickham also said that he was impressed by the work done on the platform, with its clear focus on advice workflow and user experience. "The combined Morningstar and AdviserLogic teams will work together to deliver additional capabilities on this platform to solve problems for advisers, licensees and the clients they serve."
