Acting Head of IFA Distribution named for AIA Australia

Life insurance firm, AIA Australia, has announced that Kristen Lennis-Harvey will step in as acting head of IFA distribution for Australia, effective January 2018.

Her interim role follows the news that Sam Tremethick, currently head of IFA distribution, has been promoted to regional head of IFA and will relocate to Hong Kong.

Lennis-Harvey is currently head of strategic partnerships, a role she was appointed to in May 2015, and will maintain the oversight for this role.

She has over 19 years' experience in financial services and prior to joining AIA Australia was a national strategic account manager at Zurich.

Commenting on the changes, chief retail insurance officer for AIA Australia, Pina Sciarrone, said: "Our aim is to have the right people in the right roles so we can work with our business partners and ultimately serve our clients in the best possible way. Kristen with her experience and passion will ensure that our IFA business partners will continue to receive the high level of support from AIA Australia they are used to getting."
