Acadian appoints Asia Pacific head

Acadian Asset Management has announced the appointment of Andrew Hair to the newly-created role of head of Asia Pacific.

Alongside his new regional responsibility, Hair will continue in his role as CEO of Acadian Asset Management (Australia), which he has held since 2012.

Commenting on his appointment, Kelly Young, chief marketing officer of Acadian Asset Management said: "We're delighted to promote Andrew to this new regional role. This role is not only a reflection of Andrew's success overseeing strong growth in Australia but also underpins Acadian's dedication to expanding our global capabilities."

As head of Asia Pacific, Hair will be responsible for Acadian's business in Australia and New Zealand as well as Acadian's affiliated offices in Tokyo and Singapore.
