Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) has promoted investment director Natalie Tam to deputy head of Australian Equities.
ASI head of Australian equities Michelle Lopez said the promotion is an endorsement of Tam's experience in the markets and positive contributions to the team.
"While the last nine months have been challenging, both Natalie and Camille [Simeon] have stepped up and led on projects in addition to their day-to-day analysis and portfolio management responsibilities, which have been extraordinarily demanding during these times," said Lopez.
Tam joined ASI in 2005 from Deutsche Bank where she was a media research analyst. She also held roles at investment banker Rothschild and Coca Cola Amatil in a corporate strategy role.
Simeon has taken on Tam's previous role as investment director.
