Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) has confirmed the appointment of Adam McCabe as head of fixed income Asia and Australia following the departure of Australian fixed income head, Nick Bishop.
McCabe, who is based in Singapore, has led ASI's Asian fixed income operations since January 2014 and assumed the expanded role in February 2019.
In a statement, ASI Australia managing director Brett Jollie said: "The appointment acknowledges Adam's considerable on-the-ground Australian investment experience and highly regarded leadership skills."
He added: "Adam oversees A$4.3bn in Asian portfolios of which $969million is allocated to Australia. He has demonstrated experience in driving successful outcomes for our clients across the region and we believe his skill set is in line with what is required to drive our Australian Fixed income strategy forward."
